Position Purpose/Objective
Work on analysis of polymer composition and develop methods &measurements to characterize new polymer as support for innovation and developing activities. Support Sales & TS to analyze competitor’s products and give info. for deciding strategy. Support operation on trouble shooting by analysis measurements
Major Accountabilities
1. As a key role, execute composition analysis to support innovation and development activities by means of qualitative and quantitative tools.
2. Responsible for operation and maintenance of all analysis apparatus. Establish SOP for each analysis operation. Prepare maintenance and calibration schedules for each equipment. Make sure all equipment in good status.
3. Participate conference of equipment analysis and external training programs to continuously improve ability of polymer analysis.
4. Communicate with other analysis department in other region and get resources for complex cases.
5. Support production on trouble shooting by analysis measurements.
6. Provide info. To sales & TS by analyzing competitor’s products for strategy decision.
7. Responsible for chemicals management in analysis lab. Make sure using of chemicals and all operations follow allnex SHE procedures.
8. Responsible for 5S work in analysis lab.
Education
At least master level education in analysis or polymer chemistry.
Experience (type and length of experience)
Resin & paint related experience is preferred.
Specific skills (skills and knowledge necessary to meet the objectives of the position)
1． Familiar with analysis equipment’s, like GC\ MS \HPLC \FTIR \DSC\ NMR;
2． Well know about polymer science.
3． Very good communication skills, fluent in English
